Summer Brain Gain is a fun, educational program that aims to prevent summer learning loss and keep kids on track for the coming school year. The program is comprised of 17 one-week modules with themed activities for elementary school, middle school, and high school students. Each module takes a project-based learning approach; youth engage in a process of learning through discovery, creative expression, group work, and a final project or production.

Transfr is a VR-based workforce training and career exploration platform that bridges classroom learning with real-world job readiness through immersive simulations and digital coaching.

Career Exploration & Training: Learners can explore 150+ careers across 16 career clusters via a web app, create personalized career plans, and share them with mentors.

EDUCATION & WORKFORCE READINESS

Project Learn reinforces the academic enrichment and school engagement of young people during the time they spend at the Club. Through Project Learn, Club staff use all the areas and programs in the Club to create opportunities for these high-yield learning activities, which include leisure reading, writing activities, discussions with knowledgeable adults, helping others, homework help, tutoring, and games (such as Scrabble), that develop young people’s cognitive skills.

  • VR-Based Skills Training: 330+ VR simulations in 8 high-growth sectors (e.g., manufacturing, healthcare, construction) map to U.S. safety standards like OSHA, NCCER, and ASE for skills such as workplace safety, math & measurement, and tool use Transfr+1.

  • Fundamental Skills Program: 70+ VR simulations covering transferable trade skills, with interactive virtual coaching and digital badges for motivation and credentialing Transfr.

  • Pre-Employment Programs: Structured 20-hour VR + digital lessons to prepare learners for entry-level roles, with progress tracking and employer-ready microcredentials

Money Matters promotes financial responsibility and independence among Club members ages 13 to 18. Participants learn how to manage a checking account, create a budget, save and invest, start small businesses, and pay for college.
